Over in the USA, in the historic city of Buford, Georgia, Putt Nation is putting a modern twist on mini golf with a new, state-of-the art 18 hole mini-golf challenge for all ages! Alongside an exciting new restaurant serving snacks, flatbreads, wings, and desserts and a unique self-service alcoholic beverage bar, diners can enjoy a mini-golf game with a difference.
Together with giant screens in-keeping with the theme of each hole, and props such as a colourful Ferris wheel, a house of cards, giant dice, and oversized popcorn buckets, Putt Nation is a mini-golf adventure like no other.
SCORELINK were engaged to design and develop a number of passive and reactive AV elements across the course. Each hole features fully addressable RGB edge-lighting and an illuminated hole cup, both of which react with lighting animations when a hole is completed. Each logic controller was programmed with custom firmware to integrate with external video players and sound FX, creating a holistic audio-visual experience around each mini-golf hole.
